I was reminded of the duet done through the magic of modern technology between Natalie Cole & her wonderful father Nat King Cole long after he had passed & before he ever got to see her success in the music world.
My grandfather never finished this painting. My mother gave it to me after his death in the hopes I could finish it for us someday. So I did in time to give it to her last Christmas. There were many elements I could leave alone to be able to enjoy my Opa's own brushstrokes and color choices. Since the sunflowers were the main thing he had not finished, their completion was my contribution to this duet.
